This project visualizes a piano solo performance I have been doing since 2006 as a gift for my mom. The phrase “多謝媽咪,” meaning 'thank you, mommy,' inspired me to create a bold typeface. Through exploring different strokes in traditional Chinese, I reimagined typefaces, aiming to move away from a 'traditional Chinese feel.' Each Chinese character has a specific stroke order, and I have designed layers to reflect that.
