Tracy Wong is a designer fascinated by the intersections of everyday life, social challenges, and creative expression. She explores how visual and spatial design can transform ordinary actions into meaningful experiences that connect people and communities.
From participatory exhibitions to placemaking projects, Tracy creates opportunities for collaboration, play, and co-creation, rather than prescribing fixed solutions. Her work bridges social innovation, research, and experimental design, using design as a tool for collective change. By translating complex ideas into engaging, tangible experiences, she helps communities discover new ways to interact, reflect, and shape their shared environment.

SHIBUI ZEN
Visual Identity, 2022
Shibui Zen was envisioned as a zen room as a meditation environment for participants, a supportive place of promoting a culture of mindfulness, zen tea and food ceremony.
Constructed from the defining elements of Shibui Zen, the logo represents a myriad of motifs meaningful to the core and beliefs. At the forefront is the two reflecting shape which is audience’s inward feeling. Characteristic of its Japanese nature, the logo which is formed to circle represents Japanese-style round window. It is the meaning of comprehension in traditional culture. Lastly, the logo constructs and overall “Bodhidharma” form taken from the buddhism zen representative.
The brand identity is accompanied by a series of supporting graphics introduced in a Japanese dry garden. It creates a minimalist stylised of mindfulness spirit thereby inviting the participants get into their mind.
